I was interested in the tiddlywiki (opensource) project as it allows anyone to create an offline wiki that is easily updated on the PC. You download the tiddlywiki and edit locally, and then re-upload to your server or ISP.
The beauty of this system is that it integrates a wiki with opensource with ease of use. Anyone can now create ebooks using wiki techniques. My Prince 2 wiki is my first attempt at using this technique. It may be useful for a reference for the Prince 2 project management methodology and of course can be downloaded by everyone.
I have also produced a pdf crib sheet that covers all the input, output and update stages in the PrinceII methodology. This is a useful crib sheet to take into the practitioner exam (the reason I created it in the first place) as it's a very quick visual guide to the crucial document stages in all processes.
Mike Spain has also produced a wonderful 'tubemap' of the complete process flow for PrinceII and is freely downloadable as a PDF file. It's a great map with a lot of very good detail of all the flows and trails for documentation within the PrinceII methodology. In his own words:
"I found that the Prince2 manual "Managing Successful Projects with Prince2" showed all the processes but individually. There was no complete diagram. So, using the information in these individual diagrams, I came up with the "Tube Map" showing everything and how each stage integrates with the others and what action needs to be taken for each process. Looks complicated but isn't. If you find it useful or have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Mike Spain, May 2006."
