Booze cruise oct 2007

The booze cruise in October went well. This time it was Jonathan (me), Martin, Len and Jon (JR). We all set off to Plymouth Friday night to catch the Plymouth to Roscoff ferry, departing at 11pm. We were not expecting a rough crossing and luckily were not surprised. We managed to struggle to the bar for a while and then off to get some rest before we hit France and our wallets.
This was the weekend of the Rugby World Cup final and England were playing! No worries, the ferry was due to dock in at 8.30 pm Saturday night on the return journey; we saw the first half and that was enough.
The trip, as usual, was excellent. Good food, beautiful scenery and wonderful wine... The wine warehouses seemed pleased to see us (again!) as we are almost becoming regulars now; not that we have a drink problem, just appreciate fine wines! Anyway I put together a short video of the trip from the photos - probably only appreciated by those who were there - but hey, it's what these trips are for. We did manage discuss just about everything as only we could, but at least this time there were no arguments about seagulls (you had to be there...).
Martin (bless) saves all the coupons, or maybe it's one of his relatives, anyway we all managed to go for a paultry amount. We all had a full day, the bar was full on the way back with mostly England supporters watching the rugby on the big screen, we nearly had South Africa as well - that would have been icing on the cake for the trip; alas not to be. Anyway here's the video... warning ::: this video does have music with it so if you lot are looking at in the middle of the office, it will be best to turn DOWN your speakers if the boss is about ;-))
Here's to the next trip, and probably the rate that Len drinks wine this will not be too long...
